C-Sox

June 28, 2008 marked the day when the China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Insurance Regulatory Commission, National Audit Office and China Securities Regulatory Commission jointly announced the Basic Standard for Enterprise Internal Control. This law has been described as "C-SOX", mainly because it requires email archiving the same way the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) has in the United States of America.
