Smarsh is thrilled to announce that we’ve been named one of the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America…for the 9th consecutive year!
Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5000 is an exclusive list of the country’s most successful private companies, and has become a mark of entrepreneurial success. Our appearance on the list for the ninth year in a row puts Smarsh in a rarefied group: only a small fraction of the nation’s companies have demonstrated such remarkably consistent high growth. (Less than 1% of companies make it to the list nine times).
The 2016 Inc. 5000 is also the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years – about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period.
Smarsh has a track record of sustained growth, and this honor distinguishes the company for its leadership in archiving and compliance for companies that have regulatory, corporate, or legal obligations that call for electronic communications records retention, supervision, and e-discovery.
The 2016 Inc. 5000 list is ranked according to revenue growth percentage from 2012–2015. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent (not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies).
